Most Anticipated New Releases : September

September means it’s back to school for me, but it does not mean that I will be putting off reading these upcoming new releases . Here are my 5 most anticipated new releases for September:

Two Dark Reigns (Three Dark Crowns #3)
By: Kendare Blake
September 4th (by Harper Teen)

Why I’m excited? I sometimes find that the second book in a trilogy (now a quadrilogy) is usually a a bitter slower and sometimes not much happens. That was NOT the case with One Dark Throne. ODT moved lighting fast and I thoroughly enjoyed the ride, so much so that Two Dark Reigns is one of my most anticipated reads of all of 2018.

Why I’m excited? Why I’m excited? This one has a lot of buzz and also contains two of my favourite things, murder mysteries and podcasts!  This one has a lot of buzz and also contains two of my favourite things, murder mysteries and podcasts!

Black Wings Beating (Skybound #1)
By: Alex London
September 25th  (by Farrar Straus Giroux)

Why I’m excited?THAT. COVER. I mean, it almost looks like it would be perfect for a tattoo, I love it. I’m always trying to branch out a bit into different genres and I’m loving the Fantasy aspect of Black Wings Beating so that’s why I’m eagerly anticipating this read.

The 7 ½ Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle
By: Stuart Turton
September 18th

Why I’m excited? Clue meets Life After Life (Kate Atkinson) meets The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo (Taylor Jenkins Reid) meets Agatha Christie – SOLD.

Strange Grace
By: Tessa Gratton
September 18th (by Margaret McElderry Books)

Why I’m excited? I’ve been waiting for this book for a while now, but what perfect timing, arriving just in time for Fall! I love a good witchy tale with a creepy town and Strange Grace has it and more!

Bonus: Dare You To Lie (Hometown Antihero #1)
By: Amber Lynn Natusch
September 4th (by Tor Teen)

Why I’m excited? The blurb on the cover says “fans of Riverdale and Veronica Mars will adore Kylene Danners and devour this suspenseful story”. Considering i’m a he fan of both, this pick was a no-brainer.
